This jewel literature Aishvarya Kadambini was written by the Gaudiya Vaishnava Acharya Srila Baladeva Vidyabhushana, who also compiled the Govinda-Bhasya commentary on Vedanta Sutra. Aishvarya Kadambini contains seven chapters called Vrsti, which means rain shower. Many exalted Vaishnavas were unhappy to find no mention of Sri Radha Krsna's Aishvarya-Lila in any of the existing literatures. To satisfy them Srila Baladeva Vidhyabhusana accepted their instruction to compile Aishvarya Kadambini, which follows the sequence of pastimes described in the Srimad Bhagavatam. This book is pleasing to all because it showers the heart with the nectar of the Aishvarya-Lila of King Vrsabhanu, His daughter Sri Radha, and all the cowherd boys and girls of Vraja.
